In most jurisdictions you can file in small claims court without a lawyer;
you certainly can in Texas--all you invest is your time and a very small
filing fee. Just curious though, what did you expect for $325? Why was a
non-ham selling this gear? You live in the same town and didn't have him
turn it on before you bought it? Seems pretty cheap for a 746 and a PS-85
power supply. Interesting.
