[Icom] help !!! IC 746 AND PS 85

I am very troubled reading this. I also have been burned by a fellow ham.
Nothing makes me more furious than making a good faith deal and getting
ripped off. If you would share with the list, were you aware of the
condition
of the equipment when you bought it or were you misled???
Did you buy it from someone on this list or another ham site like e-ham
or 
QRZ??? Let us know if there is someone we should be aware of.
