Tell your friend to part it out.  I was offered peanuts for an
IC-740, fully loaded, with accs.  I pulled the filters, FM board,
Power Supply, and the Keyer unit.  I sold the filters and FM
board alone for more than I was offered for the whole radio.
The power supply brought another $100.  I still have the
Keyer unit.  Speakers and mics also sell better when separated.
