It stays in a cool basement which I suppose might be about 60 deg at night.
I'll bring it upstairs and see if temperature is the key. I'm not overly
concerned as long as it eventually comes on. Many years ago I had a TS850
that did a similar thing.

Although it's a completely different display, there has been a never-ending
thread on the 1000MP reflector about various behavior of the display coming
on.  I personally wouldn't worry about it as long as it comes on in a
reasonable time and doesn't have any visible abnormalities like missing
lines etc.  FWIW, mine always comes right up.
