[Icom] 781 Problem

My 781 seems to be dead on the first 25Khz segment of every 500Khz from 
500Khz to 30Mhz. (Ie.--- from 21.000.00 to 21.025.00 the receiver is 
dead. This happens every 500Khz. The strange thing is that if you tune 
just below or just above (say 28.499.00 or 28.526.00 not only does the 
receiver start working but you can see activity on the bandscope in the 
1st 25Khz segment that goes flat on the scope when you tune to it. 
Everything else works fine but the rig will not transmit or receive on 
the .000.00Khz to .025.00Khz segment of every Mhz and the .500.00 to 
.525.00 section of every Mhz.
