Gary,
I use the Clear Speach Speaker unit. It worked so well that I removed it from it's speker box and
mounted it inside the SP-20 (matching speker to the IC-765). I modified the SP-20 On/OFF switch
to switch in/out the clear speach DSP module. The 12VDC is obtained from the rear of the IC-765.
It out performs the IC-706 DSP unit I use in my IC-718.

I have an ICOM 706MKIIG which I have had on the air
for a couple of months now.  I have worked a
reasonable amount of DX with it, including a couple
rare ones. I have noticed that sometimes I have
difficulty digging stations out of the noise...there
are times when the DSP and narrow SSB filter just
don't help.  Are any of you using external audio
filtering with this radio?  If so, what are you using
and are you getting good results?
