Comparisons between transceivers always is a very personal matter.

Comparing two (or more) transceivers on their technical specifications and
using special equipment (like spectrum analyzers, service monitors and
oscillosopes) is very RATIONAL. You will get a very good impression of the
capabilities of the transceiver(s); the strong points and their
improvements/modifications which could be implemented.

Besides that you have the operating point of view; the ergonomics, the
sound, the feeling, the look, the way how the different knobs, buttons,
connectors are situated on the front and rear panel, etcetera. These aspects
could be reviewed very differently and the EMOTION will be of importance.

Some people have very strong emotions, especially when it concernes their
beloved radiohobby and their beloved transceiver.

Both the rational and the emotional part of us let us choose a transceiver.
That's why every shack looks different...
