[Icom] IC-756 or an Original Pro

Hi Dick,

I can only confirm that there have been rumours to that effect. <g>
Inoue-san has indicated that a new flagship radio is in the works; the
reports of licensing from R&S are also fairly solid.

The only amateur ISB application I could think of might be a
traffic-handling or net control station carrying voice on USB and data (e.g.
Pactor) on LSB. I am not sure what the regulatory implications would be.

All the very best to you and your family for Christmas and the New Year.

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

OK. Sounds like this would not apply to hams.

Again, the software to do this would probably not be ham-oriented (or even
available)

If I were to need this, I think I would be a lot busier doing other things.

I understand. The thought of a radio a quantum jump ahead of the current
756-PRO family, though, is quite intriguing.

Are the spies still predicting it might be introduced at Dayton this year?
