Hi Dick,
I can only confirm that there have been rumours to that effect. <g>
Inoue-san has indicated that a new flagship radio is in the works; the
reports of licensing from R&S are also fairly solid.
The only amateur ISB application I could think of might be a
traffic-handling or net control station carrying voice on USB and data (e.g.
Pactor) on LSB. I am not sure what the regulatory implications would be.

I understand. The thought of a radio a quantum jump ahead of the current
756-PRO family, though, is quite intriguing.
Are the spies still predicting it might be introduced at Dayton this year?
