Subject: [Icom] Icom R75 info needed

I need some sites and lists to check out for general use and =
improvement
mods to the R75 .I have heard that the sync. det. is a problem but I =
just
recently read that that is a big misunderstanding because people look =
at the
AM reception like other radios detector schemes and the Icom is =
different
in its AM detection. I guess I'm more interested in the AGC mod and =
any
other things like filter pairs and how well they work ,etc. I think I =
read
somewhere where Kiwa moved . Is this correct ? Any info? FYI -- RandL
electronics sold them today for $439.95 plus shipping during their =
customer
appreciation day sale. The web site lists the sale prices good through
12-15-2002. It lists $499.95 and includes a $60 gift card but they =
took the
money off my purchase price. Thanks in advance for info on sites and
personal experiences and please reply off the list if you feel it is =
only
valuable info for me. Rick K8DXN
