[Icom] RE: 765 front glass cleaning

Hi Don.  Well,  I have heard or read (here perhaps, can't remember) that
if one takes a blow dryer and applies heat while *very slowly* lifting one
edge of the logo strip below the display,  it will reveal 2 screws that allow
removal of the clear plastic lense without having to disassemble the entire
front panel.  Not sure if this is a myth or not - never tried it... yet.

If I did however,  I would use something like a very thin wedge or blade to
slowly lift the strip without bending or curling it.  And as much heat as possible
without damaging anything else on the face.

Anyone tried this yet?
