GO TO RADIO SHACK AND BUY A SUB-WOOFER 8" 300-3000 CPS FREQ RESPONSE,
COST ABOUT $15.. BUILD OR BUY AN AIR TIGHT CARPETED WOODEN ENCLOSURE ABOUT 1
FOOT BY 2 FEET.. YOU WILL BE AMAZED AT THE SOUND. VERY LITTLE HIGH FREQ HISS
ON THE LOW BANDS.. ADD AN AM-COMM BASE DSP UNIT AND 160 METERS WILL BE LIKE
2 METER FM WITH THE SQUELCH CLOSED UNTIL A SIGNAL APPEARS... UN-
BELIEVABLE.... JIM / W0HFG
