[Icom] Icom , whats the real 2720 story?

The Icom T82 HT wasn't just a "idea" floated by Icom.
It was pulled when prototypes failed to meet specs. Overall poor performance.
I'd rather Icom pulled the HT, rather then releasing it &
fixing the problem(s) in version 2, or 3, like Yaesu does. I had an early
version of the VX-5 & it's performance was awful. I dumped it less than a month
after I bought it.
Standard disclaimer: I have NO connection to Icom,
just a satisfied owner of: PROII, R-8500, IC-2100, (2)IC-R2, IC-R3 & more than a
dozen Icom rigs previously owned.
