I bought mine six years ago and they are still working fine, but they are 
only part of any ignition noise solution.  In every case of ignition noise, 
I have found that 80-90% of any solution was proper grounding of the 
exhaust pipe.  Since most exhaust pipes are kept off the chassis by rubber 
insulators, the pipes make nice 20 meter antennas.  Run a piece of RG-8 
shield from the tail pipe and the chassis and you will be amazed at how 
much any noise is reduced.

This works especially well with ICOM radios!!
