[Icom] Relay currents and voltages on the SB-200

Hi Ken,

The IC-746 relay is rated at 16V 0.2A (no, Geraldine, not 2.0A!)

As for the SB-200 - I believe that its keying voltage is 120V DC. You can
check the keying voltage and current with your DVM or VOM.

You will need the relay buffer; 120V will do nasty things to your radio.

Subject: [Icom] Relay currents and voltages on the SB-200

Hello group...
I have been away from this for a while and getting back in and wondered if I
could impose a request?
A year or more ago there was a lot of discussion on here about using an
Ameritron amplifier relay buffer
between Icom transcievers and Heathkit and other older amplifiers.
Could some tell me the current and voltages for the SB-200 and the same for
the Icom 746.
Or if you know which archieve it would be close to, I can go look it up.
I recently ordered the Ameritron ARB-704 for my Icom 746 and SB-200 and am
wanting to get up to
speed on everything before getting everything setup.
Thank you so much
