[Icom] ProII IF output connection

Besides the bandscope (spectrum) view, the Kenwood SM-220 (and 230 I
expect) also gives a nice view of the received signal as well so you can
see modulation, overdrive etc. The ProII LCD analyzer display is much
nicer of course. If Icom would add the signal view that the Kenwood
provides, it would be super.

I love both rigs, but if I were forced to absolutely give up one rig, I
must admit I would keep my TS-940SAT/SM-220 combination and give up the
ProII. The primary reason is that although my ProII is modified for MARS
operation, the bandpass is so tight on some ranges that operation on
some MARS frequencies (5.4 to 6.0mc for example) makes operation there
with the ProII a somewhat iffy situation. By the time I get to 5.7mc and
above, output is down to around 10 watts. If my rig is an average
example, I can see there will be problems with people using the ProII if
the 60 meter band opens for ham use, I don't think the ProII will
provide full power based on what I'm finding for MARS use in that range.
For MARS nets in that range I need to use my TS-940S for reliable comm.
