[Icom] IC-701

Good afternoon. I just joined this list and am looking forward to =
reading the postings. I will be getting an IC-701 that has a problem. =
The receiver makes noise but does not receive signals. There is no rf =
output and the display works but does not change when working the tuning =
dial. The display seems to read 14.000 and doesn't change. I don't know =
yet if the display changes when the band switch is changed.

Has anyone come across this problem before and where should I start to =
look for the fix?

The radio is in beautiful shape otherwise and deserves a better future =
than in a junk box for parts!!

It will be my most modern rig. My TS-520 currently holds that position =
in my shack. HI HI!!
