Doug
I have a 751A and sent it to MTS in NE Washington state for replacement of
all the ceramic caps and a couple of electrolytics followed by alignment.
He did an excellent job and total cost was less than $70 plus shipping.

Subject: [Icom] IC-735 Problem

I would like to do the plastic cap replacement in my IC-735 to correct the
frequency drifting problem with the receiver. I understand that this will
require a re-alignment. I don't have much in the way of test equipment so
I'm wondering if I should do this myself? Has anyone done this fix and, if
so, how did you handle the re-alignment?
