Paul, about a month ago you sent the attached email suggesting a solution to
using the 756PROII memory keyer while also keeping the scope active. Thanks
for drawing my attention to this simple homebrew project described in the
ICOM manual. Don't know how I missed it when I first read the manual.
Finally got time to build it this past weekend. I picked up the parts at RS
for about $20 and got it done in time for the NA CW QSO Party. Worked
great!!!

I built a box with 4 buttons on it that plugs into the microphone jack to
control the memory keying on my 756PROII while I watch the spectrum scope.
Details are in the operators manual and if I am in cw mode the cw memories
are sent and if in ssb the ssb memories are sent.
