[Icom] Replacing the IC756 display

Hi Don,

It is very resourceful for your message.  I have bee using an IC756 with 
serial number >3,900 since early 1998. I do not suffer from the problem 
mentioned by you but do I need to stock up a spare piece of LCD for future 
repair.  Could you advise me the failure rate of IC756 LCD.
