Adam, I was thinking more about the other components, cabling, =
connectors...etc.  Heat is the enemy.  I suppose I just feel better =
keeping the case temp at room temperature.

Not to worry! The thermistor is attached to Q5, one of the PA power =
devices.
70=BAC case temperature in an RF power device is hot, but not dangerous.
