[Icom] Curiosity question and thought....

I know that the keying of the Icom Pro II to modern amps like the Alpha 91B
has been covered before but I saw a new and interesting twist that might be
better than anything I have heard so far and it would solve a second problem
for me. Heil has come out with what they call a dual footswitch that keys
your amplifier first and then your radio split second later. It uses no
relays...I repeat no relays. Since I use the W2IHY EQ and noise gate and
have both my Pro II and FT1000D hooked up to it and can switch back and
forth with a slide switch on the EQ and Noise gate. This would be
perfect....especially since I use a footswitch to key the radios through the
EQ and noise gate. Has anyone got this new dual footswitch yet and if
so...how well does it work. Please Email me direct at [email protected] if you
don;t want your reply on the reflector and hit delete please if you don't
like my post. Thank you, Steve, Jones
