First of all there is no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid
answers!!!
Second: an amplifier ALWAYS helps! If your signal is marginal, it'll
improve it, if strong enough no harm will be done. Use your common =
sense: if
you feel the extra power is not needed, just bypass it. Leave it in =
line, it
always ready to do some good some time. Just remember not to use it if =
the
qso is okay without, that's also what the regulations say!
