[Icom] RASCAL interface question

I recently purchased one of those RASCAL sound card interface kits to hook up to the Icom 706 MKIIG.
I got the one that uses the 6-pin mini din data connector on the back of the 706. Anywho, it works
just fine but I have a question. I'm wanting to monitor the transmit audio without having to use
another radio to do so. On his diagram, he has some sort of external speaker jack but doesn't go
into great detail about it. Unfortunately, when I emailed 'Buck' and asked him to clarify the
speaker jack, he told me he could not help me at all since I didn't buy the fully assembled product.
(so he won't be getting good reviews when others ask me about it) Anyway, has anyone went ahead and
successfully hooked up an external speaker/headphones to their RASCAL unit? If so, I'd definitely be
interested in a detailed account of how you did it. Thanks to all for your help!
