I understand however, you knowingly failed to note in your first email to the
reflector that ham stuff is hard to get IN YOUR AREA. We live in a world economy
now and it's easy to pick up the phone or log onto the Internet and order what
you need from just about anywhere. If I can't find what I need here in So. CA
then I start looking. I've had to go as far as Canada and Europe to get what I
want and I did it all from my keyboard. You wrote that silver plated PL-259's
are hard to get, I say not so. If you had written that they are hard to get in
your area then my reply would have been a suggestion to contact HRO anyway but
without the confrontation. If something you need is hard to find then please,
let us on the reflector know.
