Gang, I have started working on an IC-720A I picked up on ebay with a 
marginal receiver sensitivity problem.
The receiver is down about 9db.  No it is not the rotary relay!  All 
injection levels are ok as well as the front end board.  The problem 
appears now to be in the rf unit.  However, as everyone knows the service 
info for this vintage radio is very lacking as to stage gain 
measurements.  I was wondering if anyone had a basket case 720 they would 
like to part with or part out.  I need to find a rf unit to sub with the 
one in my set, so I can generate some decent stage gain measurements and 
then fix the original board.  Any help is appreciated in advance.  73  Dave
