Doug:
The part number is 93302603. The lamps solder onto the board located behind
the front panel behind the LCD readout. They drop into holes from the back
and the leads are solderd to the board. You'll have a fair amount of
disassembly, disconnect some cables, etc. but it's not too bad. Someone has
said you can find an equivalent lamp from Radio Shack. I remember many years
ago someone did that. I've had my 28H 15 years. I looked recently and
couldnt find any but I could of missed them.

Subject: [Icom] RE:IC-28H Lights

When I asked Icom about how to repair the lights in the display on an
IC-28H, they told me the they were integrated into the LCD screen and could
not be replaced. Is there a way to do this after all? If so, I sure would
like to know how....the ones in my rig are gone.
