One the 13 Pin Din port on the IC706MKIIG, I plan to build an RCA plug
"breakout box" to use it on PSK, a foot switch, amplifier keying circuit..
well you get the picture. The following are the pins that I believe I'll
need, vs the ones I don't;

Please note that I'm using the 13pin on the tuner as it already ties up the
13pin ASSY on the rig.

Pin 1; 8V	-Not needed, I can't think of aything that will use 8v

Pin 2; GND	-Where do I use this Ground?

Pin 3; HSEND-Can anyone tell me which pins need just a shield, and which
require a ground?

Pin 4; BDT	-For AT 180 already hooked up.

Pin 5; BAND	-Can't see a good reason to use it either

Pin 6; ALC	-For connection to ALS 600 amp. Do I use GND for the shield?

Pin 7; VSEND-May use this is the future for APRS. So I use ground for the
shield?

Pin 8; 13.8V-Tapped this firect to separate pins to use on a TNC or like
device such as
		 rigblaster.

Pin 9; TKEY -Assumed to use this for footswitch, also assumed to use GND for
shield.

Pin 10;FSKK -RTTY keying, May use this in future. Do I use ground for
shield?

Pin 11;MOD -Modulator input. Is this the Audio input to the radio? Should
I use ground on the
		 Ring?

Pin 12; AF -AF Radio audio output. Will definintely use this to
soundblaster and elsewhere.

Pin 13; SQLS- What could this be used for?

So far I have wired center conductors for pins 3/HSEND, 5/BAND, 6/ALC,
7/VSEND, 8/13.8V, 9/TKEY,
10/FSK, 11/MOD, and finally 12/AF. What do I do with the rings on the RCA
connectors?

I hope I've made this plain enough to solicit a response.

Many Thanks
