I met with Larry and Rick to test two nodes and applications. I ran an Apache server with Afterlogic webmail, concurrently with a TeamSpeak3 server (per TC's recommendation). Larry could access both of these from his laptop with ease. We tested indoors, then moved to Bancroft Park. Again, no problems.
I will get another GS router in a few days (this one for $16 including shipping), and will test port forwarding to a LAN router, at home before calling another meeting. I am planning on putting a node into a weatherproof box, with battery and feeds for vertical and panel antennas. I am considering whether the box should contain one GS, to be accessed from another node and laptop combo nearby, or whether I should place two routers in the box, with one configured as a mesh access point. Thoughts on this?
