[HoustonHam] Texas QSO party from battleship Texas

On behalf of Battleship Texas Amateur Radio Station I would like to invite all Houston and vicinity hams to come over and operate NA5DV from the Ship's Store Keeper "office" during the Texas QSO party.
This coming Saturday and Sunday. 



We are planning to operate mostly SSB and on as many bands as we can manage.
 
We would like to especially invite new hams and hams who have little opportunity to operate 
on HF  bands.
 
We have just recently activated one on the ship's original vertical "whips" ( that what the Navy calls it!)
and cannot wait to try it on 40 meters.
 
We made an agreement with Parks department and anybody interested can stay overnite on the ship.
But I will need RSVP for headcount.
