Chris
I think I'll let this one go. Just a little more money and I can have everything in a single,  smaller, package.

My first fm rig was a 7950

On the 7950, I DON'T think it includes the tone encoder board (IT MAY and if
so, it included for free.) HOWEVER, PIEXX.com makes an aftermarket model for
direct replacement..only problem is you only have 3 tones to choose
from...for local decode that's fine..want to travel and be sure you can
access ANY rptr? Add the CommSpec TE64 which covers ALL CTCSS tones (I can
do that for an extra amount and have it ready for you)..turn OFF the
internal tone card, turn ON the external and you're good to go!!!

The PIEXX model is encode/decode I think...$59...the radio asking price is
$75....the TE64 runs about $50 or so......with the three, you are ready on
the road with 50w of FM, a BIG readout and all PL tones and touchtone from
the keypad..

For those going to Belton, I CAN and WILL deliver including to Houston or at
Belton....
