Hi, Chris;
First life I have seen on this list in quite a while.
This equipment is from the old TV microwave link system (in fact, I just
scrapped out the TX from the KBMT link). I was given the opportunity to
be there (and scrounge) when they started dropping the towers along the
paths.
I am keeping the 10GHz gear that was at the sites.
My neighbor and I did manage to get some tower sections which we
disassembled and use for structural projects. Useless as tower after
the drops.
I really wish I could have gone up and gotten a couple or more of the
dishes but the contractor would not allow it and I did not have the
appropriate rigging with me to lower the dishes. I could really use a
couple as a friend and I would like to set up a link between us. He has
a 350 ft. tower.
Let me know if you want anything as I plan to scrap the last dozen or
so in the next couple of weeks.
A: I need the space and B: I can use the money. I need to get a match
set of xsistors for one of my IC2KL linears, It had the GAUL to die one
me after 35 years of contesting and DXing <g>!
BTW: I will be disposing of my complete 6 meter repeater package. I just
don't have enough height here for it to be useful.
