Funny thing...the 145 freqs they show were NEVER voted on by the
membership!!!!...145Mhz has ALWAYS BEEN odd channel spacing (145.51. 53, etc
on to 145.79 where it stops as 145.8 - 146.0 is SPACE related
freqs)...Another end run by the Society who thinks they know everything.....

ALSO the TX VHF FM Society under the wings of the Armadillo group changed
the 6mtr bandplan WITHOUT a VOTE AS REQUIRED BY THE BYLAWS!! In 1997, I
myself proposed the 6m band be changed to a 1.7Mhz split like the NW US (and
those areas under MACC, the Mid America Coordinating Council)...it was NEVER
voted on OR polled as REQUIRED by the bylaws...This was because Dillo did
NOT want to lose their "coordinated" 51.65 in/52.65 out rptrs across the
state (in violation of the bandplan which was NEVER changed when the FCC
opened 51-52Mhz for rptrs)...suddenly the plan was listed as 52.3-52.7 as IN
OR OUT option with a -1Mhz input!!! (as if RF stops at the county
line...much less the state line on 6m!!) This was an illegal act that has
never been voted on by the membership!!! I call on ALL Society members to
KILL any such proposal from the Society and VOTE ALL THE BASTARDS
out....They have lied to the membership long enough...

Council
And a 6mtr enthusiast! Look at the WWARC or MACC's web site to see the
1.7Mhz split plan...1Mhz machines can be grandfathered if their inputs are
outside the 52.7 to 52.99Mhz range (which are used as outputs in the 1.7Mhz
plan)
