[HoustonHam] RadioShack has 16GB flash drives on sale!!

Had that happen to ME with a friend's flash drive...A DJ I worked with in
Dallas, Jay Philpot, now lives in St Louis MO and was at WLS Chicago in 2007
when they did the BIG 89 Rewind on Memorial Day (went back to their AM Top40
format for that ONE day...well they repeated it in 2008...but considering
WLS was THE Top40 giant for 25+ years before talk took over, this WAS a
special event)...Jay was there and got all the audio off the off air logger
(in AM STEREO!)..and saved as MP3s on his flash drive which he sent me to
copy....OPPS!! the drive went through the washer (cold water..it was in a
pair of jeans!) and survived...all files are still there..though the glue
let go and the cover was loose (two drops of instant glue and it was like
new again!)...Jay doesn't know (thankfully or he would NEVER send me
anything again!)..and I have copies of it on 4 HDs and the flash drive (it
WAS on the 8GB the pup chewed on)...

BTW if anyone wants a copy of the 89 WLS Chicago BIG89 REWIND from 2007 OR
2008 (2008 is NOT in stereo sorry!), let me know...can provide on DVD or
your flash drive...and have program so you can convert back to WAV then burn
to CDs!!

I had a interesting experience with a flash drive recently.
I accidently left it in my pocket and the drive got washed.

I was like, oooppppss, put it in the USB port and everything worked.

I was amazed.
