Sure enough the V/UHF band conditions are GREAT tonight...TOO great, in
fact!!! Heard a WD4 repeater on 34/94 (must be Alabama or GA) Its not in
Texas or La or Miss!!! UHF out of Austin was coming in (so was FM 103.5)..
220 was dead..pity (only 224.1 and 224.18 out of Houston and .18 is off
frequency)...BUT on TV, I CANNOT get digital 4.1 (no surprise), 6.1, or 64.1
locally! Maybe interference but I saw nothing else on 40, 21 or 36
respectively...ANALOG?? I get LP66, the U (KVHP-LP) out of JASPER!!! (yep,
64's sister) as well as TV 16 WAPT (showing Matlock) and a 31 ABC affil,
both out of MS!!

DTV? 29.1-.3 (ON RF20) WMPN..found out something in the Dish 722DVR..it only
remembers the LAST Digital mapped channel on that RF channel...so sure
enough, when it saw WMPN as 29.1, it LOST KVHP 29.1 on RF30...had to add
FOX29 back in and then WMPN went away except for its 29-3 subchannel!!!
THATS NOT good!! My DTV Polaroid can show multiple DTV channels with the
same number but the tuner was not as sensitive as the 722DVR...but evidently
the 722 WONT and that sucks!...

saw a DTV 49 out of MS but can't recall the call (and it was RF49 as well!
Not bad considering my antenna is pointed right at KBMT's site with their
digital on 50!)...An analog 23 was showing a infomercial for the Carol
Burnette DVDs but could not get a callsign...LP22 in BMT?? not on the air or
not watchable..on all VHF channels got some carrier...but other than locals
analog 4, 6 and 12, there were multiple stations and too much herringbone to
make out anything...KPLC 7 was GONE and not watchable but 18 LPB WAS..go
figure....This was a good night to go DXing..

Called on 144.2 and 432.1..and got no one L
