Usualy low band TV stations use a batwing...its the only antenna that can
cover the 6MHz b/w with a LOW SWR needed for analog TV....7 and above can
use other design antennas but lowband TV usually are batwings...used to know
one of the TV engineers at KBTX....if they have gone digital only, they may
have dropped the TV3 antenna by now.

What about the CH 3 antenna in the Bryan College Station area? I have 
no idea what kind of antenna they use on Ch 3. According to 
Antennaweb KTBX 3 has gone digital only on Ch 30.....
