[HoustonHam] Working on a 2000ft tower

National Geographic Ch 186 on Dish has a show right now on that shows a tower rigger crew working on a 2000ft TV tower…..KDLT-46….will looks them up because I DON’T think they’re at 2000ft……but its interesting…..especially to those of us who have been up there (many times)…

Yep checked the FCC database....the overall height is only 1998.3 ft AGL....Sr Road in Missouri City still stands as the tallest tower in the US at 2000ft AGL...
 

BTW they will replay it around midnight......
