Hi. I have been put in charge of soliciting and organizing programs speakers
for the upcoming Houston Hamfest with is on Saturday, March, 3rd. I already
have about half of the programs I need, but I am also looking for volunteers
who would like to speak on various subjects. 

 

So far I have the following programs committed:

-          Lighting Protection and Grounding

-          African DX Safari

-          Contacting Ham Radio Satellites on a Budget

-          Antenna Basics

-          Effective Antennas from Deed Restricted Locations

-          End Fed Wire Antennas

-          Qubical Quad Construction

-          IRLP

-          How to get into HF Contesting

 

Some suggestions for other speakers might be:

 

-          Public Service

-          Emergency Communications

-          APRS

-          SSTV 

-          QRP

-          Ham Radio Software

-          Antique Radios

-          VHF/UHF

-          BPL

-          Solving Interference Issues

-          10-10

-          Homebrewing

-          DXpeditions

-          Amplifiers

-          QSL cards

 

Please call me to ask any questions and/or to volunteer to do a program.
Programs can be anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes. Overhead video projectors
