Sorry for the multiple postings, but
I felt this news needed to be spread
around.

The QRP community in SE Texas will
certainly miss Fred K5QLF.  He was
my "elmer" as I started to dabble
into the QRP side of ham radio.

He was a vendor at one of the CLARC
hamfests a few years ago.

I know many of you will remember Fred from his time in Houston, when  the
old Houston QRP group used to meet at the Helena Motel Restaurant  on the
Gulf Fwy.

Fred was with the Houston Chronicle then.
