TDXS  November 10  Meeting Announcement

The November TDXS meeting will feature Bob Walworth, N5ET, presenting
"Operating From 5 Separate IOTAs in Two Weeks".

All interested in learning more about DXing or contesting are invited to
attend!
Bob will talk about operating from 5 separate IOTAs, 4 different islands
(plus mainland Scotland) in two weeks, including the rare IOTA St Kilda,
EU-059. Operated from EU-005, 008, 010, 059 and 123.
St Kilda, a Scottish National Heritage site is a highly controlled access
island with ongoing archeological digging, and very limited access to
outsiders. And to stay overnight, 24 hours, almost a no no.  Interesting
place and most of the talk will center in St Kilda.

Bob was first licensed in '75 as WN5LVC, which changed to WB5 after getting
his General.  Got his Extra in '79 and was issued AK5B. Changed call in '96
to have his Dad's old call N5ET.  Bob lived in Beaumont and started DX'ing
in '79.  His XYL, Linda, KA5FUI (now KE5TF) is #1 Honor Roll, both joined
the TDXS in '82.  Member numbers 94 and 95.  Bob was TDXS President for two
terms, in '97-'98.  He has earned #1 DXCC CW and Mixed (need 3 on phone), 5B
DXCC, and 900+ IOTA islands.

This promises to be an interesting meeting!
