[HoustonHam] Eton "Blackout-Buddy" Half-Priced at Fry's

Picked up the Eton (aka Grundig) "Blackout Buddy"
Emergency Radio for $14.99 (half-price) at the
local Fry's Electronics.  The model number is
FR-100.

It's AM (520-1710 kHz) and FM (87.5-108 MHz)
and plugs into a regular wall outlet.  You can
set the alert so that, if your power fails, the
radio will turn on (using the power in its
rechargeable batteries) and/or a bright white
LED light will shine, illuminating a hallway.

Here in Tropical Storm and Hurricane country,
I thought it was a good thing to have, especially
since it was half price!
