[HoustonHam] this is a very elementary question, but

Chris

Congrats on the recent upgrade, welcome to HF!

On Monday Nights at 8pm, listen on 28.185 for CW.
The NARS club lists a Slow CW net at that time.
http://w5nc.org
I think they also have a 10m Rag Chew net, but I don't see it listed on
their site.

A 102" whip is a quarter wave for CB, and works for 10m. According to what
I heard/read I should of had to trim it at least a couple of inches, bit it
worked with low SWR (<2) across most of the 10m SSB portion of the band.

Do you have any coax? would be easy to put up a receiving antenna. either a
Vertical or dipole.
If interested in more info feel free to contact me directly.
