After rereading the msg, Steve, I thought you may be getting hit with
spoofed emails..
Paypal never asks for your information in an email...but then I read the
final email you posted and realized you are getting close to your card limit
on your free Paypal acct.
When you reach your unsecured limit at Paypal, you WILL have to verify your
info to stay active (iirc a bank card is only good for $500 or maybe 1000
total at Paypal)...
I ran into that and eventually had to get verified (when I bought those 2
PBXs w/VM for $400 each, it sent my acct into orbit :) Set up another
checking acct when you HAVE to go through this...(Had to do that once I was
ready to sell...problem is I havent sold anything!! After all the fees, I
wonder if its worth it ;)
DO NOT let Paypal/Ebay have access to your main acct. Put 100 or so in the
Paypal acct and you will be fine. I xfer money in/out of the ebay acct when
needed.
