TDXS July Meeting Announcement

Please note that this meeting is on Wednesday, July 7, not our regular
Thursday meeting night.

The July TDXS meeting will feature Bruce Paige, KK5DO, presenting "How to
work Satellites with your Dual Band HT".

Bruce Paige, KK5DO, holds an Amateur Extra Class license. He has been
licensed
since 1993 and is on the Board of Directors of AMSAT as well as Vice
President
for User Services. He has been a past president of BVARC and on the board of
directors of CLARC. He has DXCC Phone, CW and Mixed (314 entities) as well
as
DXCC Satellite. He has close to 800 grid squares on satellite.

During his talk, you can learn how to use your HT, Mobile or Base station to
work a satellite. Learn about the newest satellite, ECHO, to be launched
(June 29) as well as older satellites that are still in operation like
AO-7. Depending on the sun's elumination of AO-27, we might have a
demonstration in the parking lot.
