        HAM EXPO -- the Fall 'Fest is Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at Belton,
Texas.  From
Interstate-35 take Exit 292 west (on Loop 121) to the Bell County Expo
Center (1/4 mile).   

ADMISSION: $1.00. Fully accessible to persons with handicaps. Huge
INDOOR TAILGATE arena. Doors
open at 7:00 a.m. Snack bar onsite. The talk-in frequency is 146.820 MHz
(-), PL 123.0 Hz.
Dozens of door prizes given away throughout the day, plus great grand
prizes. Must be present
to win. The event closes at 3:00 p.m.

VE TESTING for all classes of Ham licenses will be given at 2:00 p.m.
onsite. NOTE: this is
later than at previous Expos. Bring copies of any CSCEs, Amateur
license, plus photo ID, and
your checkbook. 

INDOOR TAILGATE SPACES (non-commercial) are $10.00 each at the door on
Saturday only -- first
come, first served. Tables available at an additional $10.00 each.
Tailgate setup 5:30-7:00
a.m. only. Free electricity. Bring your own extension cords, outlet
strips, and duct tape (for
securing cords).

The Bell County Expo Center management reminds you that NO ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED on
Expo Center grounds. This is a STATE regulation. Officers of the Texas
Alcoholic Beverages
Commission (TABC) do show up in plain clothes to check compliance. They
will make arrests (zero
tolerance). Please exercise all possible restraint and good judgment.
