Many thanks to Jeff Duntemann who responded with .jpg pixes of the 
original "Mini-Mitter" article (Electronics Illustrated, March, 1966) 
and Bry Carling who responded with crystals.

Also, Ian Wilson who suggested trying the Glowbugs list, which I have 
now joined.

I just love list servers focused on amateur radio.  The members are so 
willing to help in fixing gear and maintaining our legacies.  For many 
years I was an original admin for about a dozen lists (including this 
list) on qth.net.  It was well worth the efforts involved!
