[HomeBrew] mmm a foxx-3 probelm?

Hi All,
           thanks for offer off help.. Happy new year to you and your fam and all the best for 2011. 

I have constructed a Foxx-3 for 80m on completion i wasn't hearing anything at all, so on further investigation i suspected that the coil L2 was a poor solder joint and also on tx it was only slightly moving the needle on the power meter?

i have removed coil l2 and rewound new wire burned and started to scrape the copper wire to ensure a good contact. Is there anything else you might think i might have missed?

it states in the manual if i wanted to increase the power then to change the value of resistor 17 it is a 220 ohm at the min i would like to reach 1 watt so i though perhaps 100 ohms?
