I realize that there COULD be toxic gas produced. I have taken that in to
consideration. 

I think there will be little or no toxic gas produced in this test, and if
conducted outdoors in my deck & carport area, with me "upwind" of any test
effluent, both I and all others in the world will be 'safe' enough. 

Because? Because the little wooden match will be snuffed if it encounters
PCB oil at that fairly low temperature. And, in fact, there may be no PCB
or hydraulic oil anyway.

--I will be careful but I am going to do the test as I planned...
...unless someone sends the EPA to stop me  (;  (lol)
