Hello to group, a follow up:
Further to the broadcast band breakthrough in my DC receiver when using a RF
pre- amp, such as a MAR-4.
I have decided to experiment with Joe Carr's "High pass filter for Am
broadcast interference", before the MAR-4
there are two inductors of 3.3 uH each, along with the capacitors.
Question:
I have toroids, and I also have axial inductors (that look like resistors).
I can wind the toroids or simply use the axial 3.3 uH axial's I have on
hand.
would the wound toroids really be superior performers in this case?.
does it really matter? they will be in a shielded PCB box.
