Jim,

This "should" work.  The trip function is designed to work off the
current.  HOWEVER - I'm not "sure" whether the voltage rating has any
effect on what the breaker does.  I know you should never run a breaker
ABOVE its rated voltage.  This is due to being able to interrupt the arc.

A fuse WILL open under over current without the voltage being an issue.

I'd find a True Value hardware store and get the old screw in fuses.
