I agree but commercial amp manufacturers have been getting away with it for
decades. Alpha used the B&W in the 77 series and B&W used the 802 in their
own 1500W amp. Heath used 50uh on their SB series of 80-10M amps.
Maybe the 10X rule goes back to Class C AM days; I dont know if that is
pertinent.

100 uh is a bare minimum for 160 tube finals; the B&W 802 is 110uh and has
no ham band reasonances
At 2 MHz, a 100 uH choke has only 1256 ohms reactance.
